I believe Future Science Leaders will be a fantastic opportunity to further my passion for science and learning. I look forward to being in a collaborative setting with other students who share my love of science in a hands-on environment. I cannot wait to meet industry leaders and learn everything I can from them. Having an insatiable curiosity, I hope to expand my knowledge and delve deep into different areas of science and develop my leadership skills.
I’m currently in Grade 10 and attend Point Grey Secondary. I have many activities in and outside of school that I am passionate about. Music has been a big part of my life since I was a young child. I have been playing classical piano for 10 years and currently I play keyboard in a rock band, as well as tenor sax in my school’s jazz band. I also have a passion for fencing and enjoy competing in tournaments year round. I also enjoy volunteering and helping out in my community. I help out at events at my local community centre, as well as teaching kids math after school at an elementary school’s math club. In my downtime, I like to relax by playing video games and reading science fiction novels.
