Natalie Leong

My name is Natalie Leong. I am currently in Grade 11 at Crofton House School. Through FSL, I hope to work with like-minded, eager students. I look forward to meeting and studying under mentors in their specialized fields. Specifically, I hope to further my knowledge in Veterinary Medicine, while exposing myself to all the other STEM fields as well. I believe that FSL will give me that opportunity to learn more about myself and my opportunities going forwards, and further my passion for science.

While I am not at school or pursuing my interest for science, I love taking advantage of our unique city of Vancouver with my family and friends. Whether I am leading the Scouts camping programme, sailing with my brothers, or hiking in the mountains with my dogs, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Additionally, music provides a key source of relaxation in my life: playing bassoon in orchestra, singing in the Vancouver Children’s choir, composing music for my school ensembles, and singing/acting/dancing in various shows and performances. I am also passionate about Model United Nations, through which I strive to voice my ideas as a global citizen.
