Hello, My name is Dhruv Goel and in this Hello World blog post I will be talking a little bit about myself and my interests. Throughout the year I will be posting multiple blogs on different topics in Math and science.
A Little Bit About Me

I currently attend Seaquam Secondary and I am in grade 10. In school I am in the robotics and debate team. I am very passionate about these clubs because they are very enjoyable and I learn a lot in them.
What am I interested in
My favourite subjects are math and science. Science has always been a deep passion of mine, and it an area that I hope to further my understanding and knowledge.These subjects are extremely interesting and they both give me answers to the questions I have about the world around me. I enjoy how accurate math is and how informative science is. I particularly like studying geometry, biology and physics because these subjects are very interesting and they provide me with a solid foundation for doing anything else in the fields of math and science. I love playing the piano because I thoroughly enjoy how relaxing music is and I have been playing for 6 years. In sports I enjoy playing badminton, ice hockey and swimming. I am quite skilled at badminton and I am training to become better and better so that I can win as many games as possible during this season.I have also completed all the red cross levels of swimming , as well as bronze medallion, and bronze cross. These are all the steps on my way to becoming a certified lifeguard.
What do I hope to get out of FSL
I hope to use this opportunity to delve deeper into topics of physics, biology and math. Furthermore I really want to gain an interest in new topics that we discuss this year. I also hope to do interesting research and projects during the course of this year in FSL
