Hello. My name is Basil and I am a grade 10 student at Stratford Hall. The main reason I joined FSL was to further my knowledge in science and to meet others who liked science as well. I also saw that this program could give me opportunities that I could not get in school. I particularly love chemistry and hope to be a chemical engineer later in life. This is one of the reasons I joined FSL. I also hope to make some good friendships via the FSL program. Apart from FSL, outside of school I sail competitively, play soccer and ski in the winter when it is possible. In school, I also play basketball and volleyball. I am also interested in archery and recreationally shoot in the warmer months although sometimes in winter. Some things I enjoy are camping, playing with chemicals, going out in nature and spending time with my friends. I look forward to a great year in FSL, especially when the chemistry unit comes around.
