My name is Amanda and I am currently a grade 11 student at Crofton House School. I joined FSL because I have always been fascinated by the complexity of STEM in terms of how much there is to learn, and how much there is to discover. Through FSL, I hope to further develop my interest in STEM through hands-on experiments, and to expose myself to a broader range of activities and experiences. I also look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals who share just as much passion for STEM as I do!

From a non-academic standpoint, I absolutely love sports, and have played for my school’s volleyball, basketball and track and field teams since 3rd grade. During the year, I am also a part of a few school clubs, such as Creative Writing, Multicultural, Model United Nations, and STEM club. In my spare time, I can be found doing puzzles, going through 500 different tabs of Buzzfeed articles, watching movies with my family, and playing with my dog, Ozzie.
