Hello people, my name is Sean, I am in grade 11 at Eric Hamber Secondary and I came to FSL to learn. Now the boring stuff is done. If you actually want to know more then continue reading.
Take a look at my photo for a second. If any of you made a first guess of what I was like by first glance you would guess one of two things. A: I look like the most average person in the world. B: I look like a complete nerd. I would say that both of these conclusions are completely logical deductions. I do look very VERY average, and I am such a nerd. I can prove my nerdiness right now. I am wearing a Star Wars shirt in the photo, I remember at least a quarter of the wizard spells in D&D, and I won’t shut up about science or technology. (BOOM nailed it!)
I came to the FSL program since it seemed like I had to. A place where like-minded people get together and talk about STEM stuff? Count me in! I always liked science, surrounding my self with whatever concepts and information I could get my hands on. As time went on, my obsession with science went from pretending to be a chemist with my childhood friend, to learning whatever I could from classes, books, and the internet. Looking back, I feel like I haven’t really changed my interests since I was four. I still have an obsession with science, and I still play pretend. The only difference is that now I study science instead of imagining it, and I roll dice and read books to play pretend.
TL;DR
