Just last week, Lovdeep Citrine, the immensely successful owner and CEO of the Flying Colours airline was unfortunately found dead in one of his newest airplanes. His death has been grieved by many, and sympathy has been sent to his many family members, especially his second wife Carol Magenta who is pregnant with their first son. Although the news is shocking, it has also brought overwhelming attention to his life behind the newspapers and tabloids. Shortly after the tragic event, family members and friends were interviewed for their perspective of the story and although their insight was helpful, it has only added complexity to the case. On September 23, a statement had been released by the town’s main police department on the purpose of Lovdeep’s death, confirming that the death had been linked to murder. The news spread like wild fire, as social media such as Twitter and Facebook exploded on the topic. The police department later released another statement concluding that they have put the town’s most notable workers on the case. The scientists working on this case announced their verdict on Channel 8 News and broadcasted the following: “After many hours working in the lab, we have come to the conclusion that the act has been done by two people, one of those people being Christopher Citrine. Christopher Citrine is the eldest son of Lovdeep from his previous marriage to Mulan Vermillion. Christopher is our number one suspect at the moment due to his lack of empathy towards with father’s death and the sloppy trace of clues he left behind at the crime scene. Lovdeep’s death took place in one of his newest airplane models that has never had commercial passengers on board. Because Christopher works on airplanes as an occupation, him getting access on this plane would be very easy to achieve. We also managed to find a drop of blood near the airplane bathroom door which matches Christopher’s DNA.
Christopher’s history with his father is very problematic due to his father constantly taking his spotlight. For example, on Christopher’s 25th birthday, Lovdeep met his girlfriend Carol Magenta, however Lovdeep possibly ended their relationship when he and Carol became a couple. Not only that but Lovdeep made Christopher his best man at his wedding with Carol, possibly to boast his new happiness with his ex-girlfriend. Now that Carol is five months pregnant, he must had been on the edge of hysteria. However, Carol and Lovdeep’s relationship isn’t the only possible motive to trigger Christopher to kill his own father. Lovdeep also took over Christopher’s internet company Solid Grey, which resulted in Christopher getting his current job as an airplane mechanic, in which he expressed his hate for in his interview. Christopher also stated that he was not greatly affected by his father’s death, because he was not a big part of his life. There has also been a significant record of emotional instability established in Lovdeep’s first family. Apparently, Lovdeep treated his first wife, Mulan Vermillion harshly, which may have initiated the mental instability, drug use, and alcohol complication in his two daughters, Jastina Citrine and Alice Citrine. Christopher, who was most likely very affected by the family’s issues, probably felt a built up anger towards with father due to him shying away from family responsibilities. Our additional theory is that Carol’s baby may belong to Christopher instead of Lovdeep. In that case Christopher would want have much more purpose to kill Lovdeep.
Our next suspect is Yoyo Champagne. Yoyo is the owner of Skylette, the rival of Lovdeep’s company Flying Colours. Yoyo and Lovdeep never got along. Jealous of his success in the business, she tried to make him look corrupt by saying he planted harmful bamboo by her office and bribing politicians. Lovdeep’s death would greatly benefit Yoyo’s business growth and possibly even grant her the chance to be Canada’s national airline. Greed lead her to the murder of Lovdeep. Other evidence to support her conviction, besides her motive, is her fingerprints. Fingerprints traced with arsenic were found at the crime scene which could have been when she was using a human poison (possibly arsenic) to kill the bamboo in her office, there was also arsenic found in Lovedeep’s stomach contents. Furthermore, she had cuts on her hand which suggests Yoyo might have been involved in the stabbing of Lovdeep. Additionally, 4-hydroxycoumarin (rat poison), was found in the stomach contents of Lovdeep. The stomach contents smelt garlicky a smell often associated with arsenic poisoning. The rat poison found in Lovedeep’s stomach could relate to the fact that there is rat poison located at Skylette. Additionally, Yoyo’s fingerprints were also found on a bottle of drain cleaner which was also found in Lovedeep’s body. In a toxicology report it was found that Lovdeep’s haematoma formation was caused by his intake of rat poison and drain cleaner, which is why so much excessive bleeding occurred at the crime scene. By teaming up with Christopher, both of them accomplished their desire.”
Charges against the two main suspects are pending meanwhile the police are searching deeper into the case for further explanation.
